Day 1
We start our tour by heading for Loch Lomond (this is our largest Loch in surface area), we drive the entire 22 mile length of the Loch on the western shore. Our route then takes us via Tyndrum, across the wild Moor of Rannoch and through the spectacular mountain pass of Glencoe. We carry on through Fort William and if the weather is clear we will see Ben Nevis our highest mountain.
After lunch we visit mysterious Loch Ness and follow its 23 mile shoreline stopping at Urquhart Castle where most of the sightings of Nessie have been made.
We arrive in Inverness in the early evening for our overnight stop.
Day 2 -
The Itinerary today is very flexible according to the interests of the group. You may wish to visit Culloden Battlefield (the last battle fought on British soil in 1745), we will then head South and if you have a taste for Scotch we can visit one of the Whisky Distilleries on route or have a nice nature walk at the Hermitage or The Birks of Aberfeldy.
After Lunch we can detour down the Sma Glen as we head for Historic Stirling (the key to the Kingdom), we will have photo stops at the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle, if you wish to visit the Castle we would need to allow around 2 hours.
Touring days are normally around 9 hours, departing at 9am and arriving at our destination around 6pm.
Departures from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling etc.
Tour prices do not include Accommodation, meals or entry to visitor attractions, although we will be happy to assist with finding suitable accommodation for your party if you wish.
