A tale of heroes, Dukes and Kings

Of battles and of woe

 

He tells of castles bravely held

With armies at the door

We listen with attention rapt

And eager ask for more

 

Our trip we would only half enjoy

Without our hearty guide

Returning home our hearts will stay

In Scotland with all pride
